The Democratic Executive Committee meets the 4th Monday of each month at the Crossville Housing Authority's Meeting Room on Irwin Ave. at 6:30 p.m.  These are open meetings and all Democrats are welcome to attend.

October 3  2 - 5:00 p.m.  Green Goes Blue - Sustainability Fair and Democratic Rally- Cookeville.  This is a six county regional Sustainability Fair and Democratic Party Rally.  A number of environmental groups will have displays as well as local county parties.  Lots of elected Democratic officials will be present, including Senator Burks and a number of Democratic Representatives from neighboring counties.  Candidates for Governor will be present as well. October 15 6:00 p.m.  District Social at Fairfield Glade - Multipurpose Center.   The Cumberland County Democratic Party has been having regional social events in each of the nine election districts of Cumberland County.  October is Fairfield Glade's turn.  You don't have to live in the ninth district to attend.  Come and meet up with other Democrats.  Few speeches, great treats, a fun time.  Call Phil Groth at 707-8236 with questions.

The Cumberland County Democratic Women's Club  meets the 4th Monday of each month at the Crossville Housing Authority's Meeting Room on Irwin Ave. at 5:15- 6:15 pm. All are welcome to join us.  No meeting in September.

June 14, 2008 - Regional Rally and Candidates Forum.   Great turnout to hear the leading candidates for the U.S. Senate primary, Congressman Lincoln Davis, State Senate Candidate Becky Ruppe, Commissioner Jim Fyke, Mayor J.H. Graham,  State Representative Dennis Ferguson, State Representative John Mark Windell, and participants from seven counties.

May 31, 2008 - Jackson Day  Great turn-out, inspiring speeches.  Governor Phil Bredesen and U.S. Senator Clair McCaskill of Missouri were the featured speakers, along with Congressman Steve Cohen.  This is OUR year.

      

 

  June 23, 2007 - Jackson Day   This was a great event.  Lots of fellowship with other Democrats.  Great speeches by Governor Bredesen, Governor Bill Richardson (NM), a candidate for President, US Representatives Lincoln Davis and Jim Cooper.
